Provided mechanical and electrical engineering services for the renovated administration area of the existing equestrian center. The existing administration area which had several heating and cooling zones was served by a packaged roof top heat pump unit with auxiliary electric heating elements.
New HVAC system consisting of two packaged rooftop heat pump units with auxiliary electric heating elements and enthalpy controlled economizer cycle was provided to serve different zones of the administration area.
A ductless split air conditioning unit was added to the conference in order to accommodate various internal heat gain due to varying occupancy loads.
The drainage piping for the new bathroom in the administration area was designed to be routed by gravity to the lower floor and connected to the existing sanitary piping at the inlet of the existing sewage ejector pump. Detailed field work was required in order to determine the routing of the sanitary piping which would cause least interference with the exiting field conditions.
Floor mounted electric baseboards heaters were added to the office areas with tall windows.
The electrical power drawing showed power connection to the new mechanical equipment from the existing panel boards located on the lower floor.
The electrical lighting drawing showed the location of light fixtures. Ceiling mounted occupancy sensors were provided throughout the space to control the light fixtures.
The electrical fire alarm drawing showed the location of the fire alarm devices per code requirement.
